Kid’s Day

Each summer, our club hosts a kick off to summer, a day of fun for children ages 3-10. This event provides STEAM (Science, technology, engineering, art & math) projects, arts & crafts, fun activities for the kids, as well as free books and projects to take home.

This event is 100% free for the children, with generous help from local individuals, organizations and businesses.

In 2025 we once again held the event at McLane Church, and we had over 200 kids in attendance!

Organizations that attended include: Goodell Gardens, PennWest Edinboro Football & Basketball teams, Fun with Physics – Professor Hossain, GM Therapy Dogs, Erie Humane Society, Edinboro Fire Department, Edinboro Police Department K-9 Amigo, Edinboro Family Martial Arts, Releve Dance Studio, Cloverleaf Riders 4-H, Happy Hearts summer safety, McLane Church & Preschool, and Presbyterian Church. In addition we also had multiple teachers/youth leaders who read to the kids in our reading tent! Our club also provided two bounce houses for the kids to enjoy.

Sponsors of the 2025 event: Wabtec, Rebich Investments, Hamilton Insurance and South Shore Party Rentals. In addition, the Edinboro Subway franchise donated cookies, and Boro Dogs provided free hot dog kid’s meals to all of the children.
