B.U.G.

Bring Up Grades, or BUG, is a program that recognizes primary/elementary school age students who raise their grades or maintain good grades from one grading period to the next. Students are motivated to excel because they set their own goals — and they participate in peer mentoring, which involves their classmates in their success. When they reach their goals, the entire class celebrates. Students receive a certificate and a few little bug themed toys to celebrate their success.

Previously we have worked with Mill Village Elementary, but moving forward they will be serviced by the Kiwanis Club of Ft. Lebeouf, which gives us an opportunity to shift focus to the Edinboro and McKean elementary schools.
