Over the last nearly 40 years the club has engaged in a variety of service projects and fundraisers including chicken & biscuit dinners, Election Day pancake breakfasts, peanut sales and providing playground equipment designed for special needs children. Good news in the fight against maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT): The disease has been eliminated in Sudan and South Sudan — a significant public health milestone!

Kiwanis has been proud to support UNICEF’s efforts to eliminate MNT worldwide since 2010. Through extensive vaccination and education campaigns, this painful and deadly disease has now been eliminated in 51 of 59 priority countries.
